I am not sure if Religion has been invented or discovered, but I believe religious views have been constantly molded by the previous generations...so much the one and only religion which should have existed has now been divided into different parts (different religions). Religion is meant to be good. That explains all the principles of obedience and respect, etc. written in either the Bible, Koran or any religious scriptures.

Crusades, I repeat, are just expressions of anger and vengeance against nations, using religion as an excuse. As some of the members have posted, extremists are using the name of God to kill whereas God himself has instructed them not to do so. "Thou shalt not Kill." However, there can also be an argument that without extremists, a religion cannot persist for long. Without them, there will no longer be religion. Well, atheists can say then that the new religion itself will be derived from the non-belief-existence. (you know what i mean?) But, this means there will no longer be rules and regulations to control yourself. But you see, I believe people don't need religion to control ourselves anymore. Parents can just instruct their children just as teachers can to students. There will no longer be crusades or any religious genocides. Happy with this, everyone?

Santa Claus is an american copy of the Dutch Sinterklaas which is a Turkish bisshop who went to Spain.
This happend a very very very long time ago.
A bisshop who did several good things but it doesn't mean that this is a cristian celebration.
Same to the easter bunny.
Easter and Christmas are christian celebrations although the church deside that the birth of Jezus must be in december, even he was not born at that specific day.

I didn't say Buddha was a God. Every Buddhist regards him as a Great Teacher. So, I have to say there's no need for a god to attain every principle that all religions teach us. (NO offense)

If any subjects were going to start a fight, it was politics or religion.

So Adam, Moses and Jesus were all Muslim?  I'm sure that's news to them.  They must have been pretty bad Muslims since they never followed the rules.  In fact, Moses and Jesus followed completely different rules and Jesus even broke those. 

Adam's only rules were hang out, don't eat apples, and have sons that bang their sisters.

No problem until an extreme group know they're so right, they kill people who are wrong.
