Much appreciated.

On behalf of the entire Expat-blog Team, welcome to Brazil and to Expat-blog. I hope your experience on the blog will be both enjoyable and informative.

Regarding Portuguese lessons, if you send me a private message with your e-mail address or phone number I will pass it along to an excellent teacher there who is a close personal friend. He or his wife will contact you about classes.

NOTE: Do not post your personal information (phone/e-mail) here in the open forum.

Cheers,

Hi James!

I can also refer you a school that I know first-hand, very good teachers. They are next to metro Santa Cruz, close to Vila Mariana.

Here is there website : http://www.aprenda2.org/portugues/en.html

I am quite sure WJ is giving you a good reference too, but sometimes it's good to have choice if just for location or other...

Good luck!

Best regards,
