Hi everyone

I am originally from Poland but living in London for last 10 years where I work for fashion industry as a pattern cutter/designer. 10 years is a long time and english weather is so depressing so me and  my partner (South African) are planing to move to a wormer and more exotic country.
We really like Turkey and Turkish people so we decided to move to Istanbul.
It would be great if you cout give me some advice and maybe you know about any jobs.
Myself - creative pattern cutter, designer and garment tech for womenswear working in London
My partner - graphic designer, artwork specialist working for advertisement agency in London
Also how is life in Istanbul is it easy to find accommodation, job and friends?

Thanks a lot

Ewa

Hi Osman

Thanks for reply and worm welcome. I am happy to hear that finding a job is not so difficult. I will try the website you recommend. I also know some Turkish clothing brands so I can try to approach them. It would be great to live in Istanbul, learn new language and explore new culture.
I believe we can make it happen.
Can you tell me how much is roughly cost of living including rent and food so I know what kind of salary to have in mind when searching for jobs.
Thanks again
Ewa

Hi Ewa. You should earn at least 1500-200tl for each person if you want to have a good life. I have been to Poland and if i compare Turkey is napravde more expensive. But If u live in London it wouldn't be a problem to surive in İstanbul for you ! I can't say something definete for a rent. It depends on region. As i said you should earn at least 1500-200tl.

Hi EfeSutcu do you know how much is the price of an appartment by square meter in a residential quiet area in Istanbul or one of its suburbs and would (five thousand) 5000tl per month will be sufficient to have a good life for three if you own an appartment thnaks in advance
