I have recently come to know that one can bypass the drum/slope tests if Dl from native place is available and which is atleast 1 year old.My native license will be 1 year old in 1 month. However I have already obtained the book from ROP and gone for two test and failed miserably. I am planing to get my native license attested next month. Will the Rop accept this attestation and qualify me direct for road test..?Please clarify.Im Confused.

Dear Anand,

Yes. Recently I moved from India to Oman and I already got my driving licences attested from the Indian Embassy at Muscat. I did not do it personally. I got it done through an agent. Now, I have to submit that to the police station and I may require to give only road test.

I think you can wait for that 1 month and get your license attested.

Regards
