Hello,
I am building a house in Huai Thap Tan, and will be moving there in February.  My concern is the education for my 13 year old Thai step-son.  He has been in the U.S. since he was 6 years old, and cannot read or write Thai.  He only can understand some Khmer Lao.
I'm concerned about him getting an education in a government school, but don't want him to go to a private school in Ubon where he would have to board Mon - Fri.
If you have any opinions/suggestions/advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

If you're still interested in learning anything about Sisaket and Uthumphon in particular, please send me a message or post here.

I'm living here in Sisaket for 16 years, my wife's from a village near Uthumphon Phisai.

Thanks for your reply, although a bit late.  We have built a house and have been living in a village 14 km west of Uthomphon Phisai,  for
3 1/2 years now.
If you would care to contact me, you can do so here, or at pandj86@hotmail.com.

I'm sometimes wondering how fast the years go by. Sisaket has a new tourist attraction at the Somdet park! You can drive in a pedal boat that looks like a swan, a turtle, etc.. on the lake right at the entrance. Just in case if you're bored. Lol.....

Will send you photos to your email addy soon.

            Kind regards,

                 M.
