In Rennes for a month

Hi,
I'll be Rennes first week of May to first week of June on work.
I have no idea what to do there, neither do I know anybody.
So I'd love to hear from you guys suggestions for evenings, weekends & if you're free to meetup that would be great

Been here for two weeks havent met a soul 
I see people on the streets at work or in the gym but havent made any friends yet
Any suggestions what to do after work other than goto the gym?
