How is the transport in and around la Canada as I know the British school is a fair walk from the metro.  Are there any English people living in la Canada? Thank you

Christine

Hi Msse73,

I live in La Canyada.

The metro is regular every  30 mins, the buses sometimes irregular. Easy to walk or cycle around. What specifics would you like to know? It has a good little village with shops/post office/banks/cafes/health food store near the metro. We walk 20 mins to the metro from our house and we are approximately same distance as British school.

I have just been offered a teaching position at the British College of La Canada and was thinking about transport as well. There is a metro stop about 20 mins from the school so I am thinking of taking the metro from wherever I will be living and then a bike. Have you started looking for a flat yet?

Hello, I live in Canada, I was born in Canada, MOntréal is the city, Quebec the province, Canada the country! In Montreal, transportation is very easy: metro, buses, comuted trains. Where in Canada is the British school?

Hiya Marjolaine, this La Cañada is in Valencia Spain and there is a British college here. Our transport system isnt a 24 hours a day type and using public transport isnt possible late at night hence the problem of enjoying the city nightlife. I think there has been a crossed link somewhere :dumbom: Do feel free to visit though
