@ charmavietnam: It depends on our budget. Currently, we're planning that the 2 guys will share a room. And I'll share room with any girls who wanna join.

Don't mix boys and girls in one room, even the hotel authorities agree! (there will be hotel raid during night time  all states in India. If married couple should bring marriage certificate with them. Otherwise someone should appear next day in court to bail them out!)

Not true, my friend travelled twice through India with his girlfriend, not wife and had no problems sharing.

I don't mean all time, but some are lucky from that 'process of law'. During raid, they don't care whether it's night or day.

@charmavietnam: thanks for your info. Haven't read that from Lonely Planet yet but I also don't intend to let boys and girls share rooms. I'm not tour conductor and I don't want any trouble though.
