We have seen a film about the second world war that was put together by a Maltese guy and Pathe news, evidently in the 1950s he asked for some help compiling a wartime history on film and Pathe news sent two guys over to help make the film. Pathe news then decided not to screen it but gave it to the Maltese guy so long as he did not screen it commercially. He used to screen it for schools in the 60s but now only shows it occasionally (we saw it via local BRA), some fantastic uncut footage of Malta during and just after the war.
