Can someone please translate the following into Vietnamese? It's a note asking my wife's cousin to buy my wife some flowers on our wedding anniversary  and he doesn't speak or read English

Cong,
I am in America now and will not be home for our wedding anniversary on 23/5. On that day can you buy some flowers for me and deliver to Duong and tell her I said Happy Anniversary?

Thanks,
Donald

Cong,

Bây giờ anh đang ở Mỹ và sẽ không thể có mặt ở nhà vào dịp kỷ niệm đám cưới của anh chị ngày 23/5. Vào này đó, em có thể mua hoa giúp anh và chuyển đến cho Duong, hãy nói với cô ấy rằng anh muốn chúc mừng ngày kỉ niệm này.

(if her cousin is little than her)

cong,
Tôi đang ở Mỹ hiện nay và sẽ không có mặt ở nhà kỷ niệm ngày cưới của chúng tôi vào ngày 23/5. Vào ngày hôm đó, bạn có thể mua một số hoa cho tôi và cung cấp cho Dương và nói với cô ấy tôi biết kỷ niệm hạnh phúc?

cảm ơn,
Donald

Thanks Charmavietnam. I just wish I can be home now. I just talk with her on the phone and she told me our daughter who is 2 months old just rolled over onto her back for the first time and can now hoped her head up a little. You leave home for 1 week and you miss everything

Yeah, that's true. Of course your presence is invaluable moments like these and you too miss your child's these funny moments.

Hi Don,

Happy Anniversary! Saw your posting and maybe you can give your wife and family a surprise by arranging a Skype or other online chat through your cousin.

I Skype with my friends in Tay Ninh and HCMC pretty often. I sometimes use Tango as well. Both works fine.

As for translation, I used google translate and have a good laugh each time I read the replies and vice-visa !!! ..... not that I am asking you to do this as the result can be unexpected !

Cheers!

Yeah, Google translate can give some crazy results for Vietnamese because it looks at each word one by one and doesn't take into account it's position in relationship beach other.
I work offshore on an oil drilling rig so we are used to being apart for 4 weeks at a time. I work 4 weeks and get 4 weeks off.
We use a combination of Facetime Viber and yahoo to talk everyday.

Cong,
Hiện tại tôi đang ở Mỹ và sẽ không về nhà để ăn mừng kỉ niệm ngày cưới vào 23 tháng 5. Trong ngày đó, mua giúp tôi 1 bó hoa và mang đến Duong chuyển lời với cô ấy rằng "mừng kỉ niệm ngày cưới"
Cong,

Cám ơn.
Donald.

You may use  Google:  Translate English to Vietnamese.
I never trust that it translates perfectly though because our languages are so very different.
This is what came out..........

Công,
Tôi đang ở Mỹ bây giờ và sẽ không có nhà cho lễ kỷ niệm đám cưới của chúng tôi vào ngày 23/5. Vào ngày hôm đó bạn có thể mua một số hoa cho tôi và giao cho Dương và nói với cô ấy tôi đã nói Chúc mừng kỷ niệm?

I would try translating one sentence at a time and then see what comes out.  Cut and paste each sentence as it comes out of the translator, put it back in the Vietnamese section, translate back to English and see if it says what you want it to.

This is a 5 years old thread.

But you are right.
Whith a little modifications of the Vietnamese sentencess (punctuation, capital letter) you usually get usable results.

But you need much time if you can't copy & paste the Vietnamese text.
