I am non-EU Masters student in Finland. I have residence permit of Finland and got a job offer in Norway. Can i go directly to join in Norway with my Finnish Residence permit ?

or I should apply for work permit visa before going to Norway?

you can't work in Norway with a Finnish resident permit.

The only way I could imagine not needing a Norwegian permit is if planning on doing some kind of commuter arrangement where you work in Norway but live in Finland? Even so, I believe you will have to at the very least register with the Norwegian tax authorities, and probably also have some kind of permission to work in Norway.

I registered at the tax office recently and the form did have the option for commuters from other EEA countries. IF you're working in Norway but residing in Finland this would probably be your category.

Not possible. You need to have a work permit in norway to do that
