Are you a Thai national?

If not you could start by checking out what jobs are available for foreigners, there is a list of closed occupations on this site.

You might also want to think about what visa you will be arriving one-I assume a Non-Immigrant O as you have a Thai wife?

Something using your language skills might be a good starting point.

No I'm a Singaporean.
Do I need to have a visa to find work? Sorry I'm not very sure on this point.

Firstly I am no expert on Visa requirements for nationals of ASEAN countries wanting to come and work in Thailand and married to a Thai lady.

However IF the same rules apply to you as for me(I'm from UK)you would first require a tourist visa or a non-immigrant O visa to enter Thailand unless you make a visa exempt entry (30 days for UK national-not sure for you).

Since you are married to a Thai a single Non Immigrant O visa would be the most appropriate. This could then be extended at Thai Immigration post in Thailnd on the basis of you being married to a Thai.

There are certain conditions and financial requirements attached to the granting of such an extension of stay. I won't list all the conditions here but you can easily find them on the OTHER POPULAR THAILAND FORUM you already subscribe too.

People on a marriage extention MAY seek work in Thailand.

Hope that helps, but note what I said regarding ASEAN countries.
