I don't know anything I intend to do in my future I live that I don't have purpose. I feel I'm useless, I've never done anything well in the first time, always more than 2 times. Life is not only sad but also boring
Rocky road ice cream will help.
Hi kandinmaxx,
NOBODY does anything well the very first time they try, not even if they've been taught so don't feel bad. We all make mistakes - that's the reason that they put erasers on pencils.

Very true..
I was once told by a very clever teacher, "Those who make mistakes, learn things in life. Those who don't make mistakes, never learn"
@kadinmaxx - i don't believe anyone is useless. We are all good at something...
Dudette, there's always something if you have the right attitude.
Don't wait for it; go out and find it.
Err is to humans live life as it comes YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...no true reason why you are brought into the world;)
If at first you don't succeed try try again.
If you get knocked down get up again.
Don't waste time sitting around feeling sorry for yourself. Life is too short for that.
Have a positive attitude to anything and everything that happens to you as it is for a reason.
And remember your glass is always half full never half empty.
That was told to me many years ago, which means to be positive and this has helped me through life.
Dude u get there , why on earth do u keep track of ur try & fail times
u succeeded , ,.. & yes ,life is boring as hell & u should be thankful for this , it's like having still water , easy to sail through & beat going through storms .
get content with ur life , get content with ur self & when u ready
when u figure out wat is it u want to accomplish & have that feeling
tear the roof of this world
I recommend getting your heart trampled on to anyone
I recommend walking around naked in your living room
Swallow it down (what a jagged little pill)
It feels so good (swimming in your stomach)
Wait until the dust settles
You live you learn
You love you learn
You cry you learn
You lose you learn
You bleed you learn
You scream you learn
I recommend biting off more then you can chew to anyone
I certainly do
I recommend sticking your foot in your mouth at any time
Feel free
Throw it down (the caution blocks you from the wind)
Hold it up (to the rays)
You wait and see when the smoke clears
You live you learn
You love you learn
You cry you learn
You lose you learn
You bleed you learn
You scream you learn
Wear it out (the way a three-year-old would do)
Melt it down (you're gonna have to eventually anyway)
The fire trucks are coming up around the bend
You live you learn
You love you learn
You cry you learn
You lose you learn
You bleed you learn
You scream you learn
You grieve you learn
You choke you learn
You laugh you learn
You choose you learn
You pray you learn
You ask you learn
You live you learn

You have given a life so make it matter. And of course if you do, you're certainly going to enjoy it much more.
Always remember this "Live life as if it matters"

You are so incredibly young almost like a baby learning to walk. You can not lose hope for on second, it is too early yet; when you turn 60 and if you feel the same way, you can truthfully admit you failed but not now! You may be one of the special people that (like my own child) need something different. Find out what you are attracted to, what you are drawn to and start looking at that as a path to walk. Read a lot, that is one way to learn if you can't travel. Reading opens your mind and trains your imagination at the same time will show you many possibilities. You say you need purpose? find it yourself. Who will know you better to find a purpose for you? Boredom comes from not thinking not exercising your mind. Read books on philosophy and try to see more than one side! that will be a great exercise. Find out what your talents are. We all have them; it took me a while to find mine but I did. Talk to counselors, clergy, doctors and teachers. Read the biography of a person or persons you admire, read what successful people have in common. In today's world with so much information available no one can say they are bored. You only need to try!
Reading opens your mind and trains your imagination at the same time will show you many possibilities.

Life has a funny way of sneaking up on you
When you think everythings ok
And everythings going right
Life has a funny way of helping you out
When you think everythings gone wrong
And everything blows up in your face
Is that you in that pic? about 20 years old? You worry that you make mistakes and not learn? We all make mistakes all the time at all ages (I'm almost 62) I try to really consider all my options and I try to be as logical as I can but, it is human nature to mix in a bit of humanity/soul/romance! and we make the mistake. Just try to not make big ones and most important try not to make the same mistake over and over. That will not be good! Don't be too hard on yourself, we are human!
There are two kinds of people when it comes to the way they think about life.
Those who look at life like it is a wave, a wave that sweeps them to some destination. These people are fatalists, they beleive they're powerless against that wave, they just have to go wherever it takes them.
Then there are those who look at life like a vehicle (essentially a car) that they get into and steer it to where THEY want to go. Those are the realists, the people who take responsibility for their own lives, happiness and success. They never always succeed the first time either. Then again, if you were driving somewhere in your car and got a flat tire; would you abandon the trip completely or just get out and change the tire?
There's a kind of freedom a release that comes from knowing that YOU are responsible for everything about your life, that nothing about your life depends on someone else once you are no longer a child. There's also a sense of power that grows as you find you handle life situations in a much different way because of that way of thinking.

These may be the very few....
I think you should learn to put down everything, and then take a trip to relax yourself.
you have to love the universe:)

This is a deep and somewhat spiritual issue. It is often easy
to feel like life has no purpose and that humans are like ants
in a worsening environment of war, murder, torture, abuse, control and loss of any value to our measly lives among the
chaos.
If you feel useless, the best cure is usually to get out of
yourself and help those less fortunate than you. This can be
by helping the disabled, the confined in hospitals, nursing homes, those in hospices awaiting death, abused women and children, young people who live on the street (children),
orphanages, help in schools, with neglected newborns, foster
children, visit those in jails, help prostitutes realize their
self worse and get out of the life that degredates them.
there may be activities through your church, social groups, or
organizations in your area. If not- start one. let me know if
you need info on that.
for yourself - spend time in nature - enjoying its tranquility
and beauty. immerse yourself in art, photography, beautiful
music. do a lot of walking, swimming, dancing, - positive physical activities.
take a course on something you've always been curious about or
research it to death on your own but with the course the content
with others helps
this may be a good time to pray and fast whatever calls to your
heart and soul - the mountains, camping in the woods, the desert, near a body of water.
Just get out of the surroundings that are cutting you down
or depressing you. A TOTAL CHANGE OF ENVIRONMENT TO A NEW
COUNTRY AND GETTING AWAY FROM THE TOXIC ELEMENTS THAT ARE
FACING YOU ALSO HELPS.
PRAYER AND MEDITATION ARE GREAT HEALERS. SINCE YOU ARE A YOUNG
LADY PRAY TO THE FEMALE PRINCIPLE OF THE UNIVERSE TO FILL YOUR
SOUL AND HEART WITH KINDNESS, EMPATHY, PATIENCE, LOVE OF ALL
PEOPLE, AND DEVOTE YOUR LIFE TO BEING THE BEST HUMAN BEING TO
EVERYONE YOU MEET ON LIFE'S JOURNEY IN HER MEMORY AND HONOR.
IT DOES'T MATTER WHAT YOUR RELIGION IS AND WHETHER YOU CHOOSE
THE VIRGIN MARY, TECKLA, MOTHER THERESA, OR AN EXEMPLARY HOLY
WOMAN FROM ANOTHER CULTURE OR RELIGION.
WE MUST EACH CREATE A PURPOSE FOR LIVING THAT MAY BE UNIQUE TO
EACH OF US. THERE ARE MANY WAYS. JUST DO SOMETHING DAILY THAT
IS POSITIVE TO STRENGTHEN YOURSELF AND OTHERS.
BEST OF LUCK. HOPE THAT HELPS . WRITE ANYTIME. LOOK, TUTZE

Only 2? I would think there are about 7 billion kinds of people when it comes to the way they think about life.

People always say thing are getting worse, but are they? Europe isn't in great shape financially, but they're doing a lot better when it comes to war.
Africa has a lot of problems, but European colonization isn't one of them anymore. Ask the people of Congo if they want Leopold back. Mandela will be dead soon, but I bet he's happier now than he was 30 years ago.
The United States isn't in great shape financially, but there's never been a better time to be a black man or a woman of any race. Obama and Clinton would be working in the kitchen or out in the fields 100 years ago.

True but her ending is more catchy.
Perhaps I am just reflective today. This song is about living, that is why it is so cool.
The times I have had my heart stomped on have made me more compassionate to others.
Walking around naked in the living room. Well I am not sure what that means. But I have done it.
The times I have bitten off more than I can chew at the time seemed like a disaster and complete failure. However now I see that is what forged me into who I am. Making all those mistakes forced me to learn things.
Sticking my foot in my mouth was great. It taught me to think before I speak. It taught me humility. It showed me I needed to learn to listen to others before I open my mouth.
Of course I am sure I am just totally in love with ALANIS. (Call me baby)
I am proud to be a successful Gen X burnout that turned out okay.
Go make mistakes people. Try and keep trying.
Oh Yeah!
Alanis Morissette
My name is Alanis
I'm a white chick singer
The drums are a smokin'
And so's the bass
Shake your thing
When you sing
Just sixteen
No disco queen
I'm a white chick singer
I've seen the world
I've got
a lession for you
I'm your teacher girl
Two words you'll be hearin'
Will shake the earth
So repeat after me
No need to be rehearsed
Oh yeah
My name is Alanis
I'm just sixteen
So please gimme a break
I'm no disco queen
Just hear what I'm sayin'
You don't wanna miss
I got a message for you
And it goes like this
Ride my train
Go insane
Your teacher girl
Rules your world
Now don't overdo it
When you shake your thing
Cause you'll be goin' insane
When you start to sing
Without special training
An amateur could be a casuality case
If they sing these words
Yo ah, Yo ah
Wo oh, Yeah!
The drums are a smokin'
And so's the bass
They keep on pumpin' a groove
And it'll melt your face
Come on everybody
And blow your mind
Because you'll never escape
These two words of mine
Love Alanis Morissette.
Maybe my purpose in life is to enjoy music.
If not I do it anyway.
I met someone once who said he doesn't like music. That just doesn't make any sense to me.
They don't like music?
What planet are they from?
Amazing.
HaileyinHongKong wrote:I met someone once who said he doesn't like music. That just doesn't make any sense to me.
Can you imagine? Even people on Mars like music.
I know people who do not enjoy some music. But they still like some music.
Music is my stress channel.
Crank the volume and shake my booty.
Unless you're deaf, it's a waste of ears to not like music.
Excellent point Hailey and you are right.
Are you reading this kadinmaxx?
Do you have ears to hear music and sight to see this webpage?
Do you have legs to dance? You already have advantages in life that others do not have.
I think everyone has a purpose. Keep looking you will find it.

This seems pretty specific to me.
You say life is boring, you don't know what to do with yourself! I am involved in a global fight against cruelty to animals all over the world. I write to different entities and persons to obtain help for this issue which is dear to my heart. I am semi-retired on disability and I am in pain all the time, different levels of pain but pain never the less. I will be 61 this coming winter and I am the last of my family, all alone. I have always loved animals and felt closer to them than to people so I chose this path at the sunset of my life. You are young, healthy and bored! AT my age I can give advice, my gray hair will excuse it. Don't sit around constantly thinking how lonely you are, how bored you are or how unhappy you are. Out there there are so many things that need help and unless you are bed written and you speak thru a machine, you can help! Start reading to children or elderly; go back to school and take a class you have an inclination or you are curious about; make new friends; move to another city; start volunteering etc., There are so many things you can do. You do not give a lot of info about yourself or maybe I have not read it. A human being can always make a difference in someone's life (including yours), the only difference is you choose if is for the better or for the worse! Think on it.
Cheer up
No body is perfect. We all learn things by mistake. Its not just you. We are all human we make mistake. But important thing is to learn from our mistake and not to repeat it again.
Try to find hobies and other outdoor activities. It will distract your mind from feeling lonely and bored. Do you play table tennis.
If you do , i can paly with you. I can teach you how to play.
Watch some motivational videos on you tube and it will boost
your energies and will give you strength to fight with all hardships of life.
Ok here is a motivational video by an Indian Professor. Do not look at his face. Listen carefully what he is saying :

Have a nice day
(Life is not given to us to complain . Enjoy it,)
bye
Shamoon
Everyones life has a purpose... The mere fact that we wake up each day with breath in our lungs is reason to be grateful. So many die young, without ever experiencing life. I'm always on a quest to treat each day like it may be my last....love those around me more, hope, dream, speak from the heart, challenge the intellect. There is always reason to be hopeful. Look around you at the suffering in this world...reach out a hand to someone who has less hope than you but refuse to paint your life as menial. Life is a gift.....ask the dying if they would not embrace more minutes to share with those they love.....sometimes we just need to put our focus on things around us instead of self analyizing. Then we can see more clearly the blessings we already have that are surrounding us...and don't forget to smile even when life is difficult, it means we are human.
