36000 AED is a good salary for living with 1 kid in abu dhabi?

Dear friends,

I got an offer from a chemical company here in abu dhabi which provide me 36000 AED per year including housing. Child education and the medical facilities are excluded.

Do you think this is a good offer for me to live here with wife (not working) and 1 kid ? Since I have no idea the cost for good life in abu dhabi.

I do really appreciate your prompt feedback if you do so since I need to make decision soon.

If its yearly. it's not enough for you and your child. More over if he/she is into schooling.

i dont think its good because cost of living in abu dhabi is high and school for your child is a bit pressure to you..

i think it depends on the lifestyle of the person. wherever you will get a great job but you have poor budget and planning skills for you and your family. It wont be effective.

Not enough for sure. its way to less even for living in sharjah. abu dabhi is costliest. Still all the best if you have determined to come here.

No...36000 per YEAR is not enough...other people who are positive about this wage think you mean per month as that is the way we usually state salary. AD is EXPENSIVE! Plus your employer should be giving you health insurance...it has just become law here

Dude 3k PM salary is OK for bachelors with accommodation but with family you cant survive take decision wisely.

36,000 AED per year? You must be kidding? Or the company making you the offer wants to take for you a ride...with 3,000 AED/month you won't even be able to feed your family, forget about renting a house, driving a car, or sending your child to a school

To be honest with you I don't think that a chemical company can pay such sucks salary....maybe the salary it's monthly or you did a mistake in writing...just as a waitress you have this salary, what about your job?! please, be carefull ...otherwise...wish you all the best
