Hi,

For the ones living In Marrakech, what would you suggest to discover the region?

When you have friends or family visiting you, where do you go with them? What are the must-see places In Marrakech, the tourist sites?

How to visit the region in an original way? Any unusual or unknown place to recommend?

What would you suggest for a couple of days of for a week of holidays In Marrakech?

Thank you in advance for participating ;)

Hi Jolie,

There are too many places to visit in Marrakech such as historical sites, gardens and markets

Monuments :

Al Bahia Palace, Al Badiaa Palace, Saadian tombs, Medraset Ben youssef and the gallery next to it, Kotoubia Mosque, Jamaa El Fena square (don't miss the view of the square at night from the top of one of the cafes near by)

Gardens :

Menara garden (considered a monument as well), Majorelle garden, Cyber park near Jamaa El Fenaa.

Markets :

the big market of the city is the one located near Jamaa El Fana square that starts from Sammarin and derive left and right .. you will explore it out yourself

Kanaria, riad zetoun jdid and Lekdim

Don't forget to pay a visit to the Jewish neighborhood called "Mellah"

Outside of Marrakech and due to drought Ourika and Asni are the best country sides to visit right now. In spring time, Morocco with its diverse landscape is just a breathtaking scenery from north to south, east to west.

Wishing you a nice staying in Marrakech

Mona
