Activity group (Basketball, scuba, running, cafe's)

Hi all, Kuwait can be a bit boring if you are alone. So, I had an idea few months ago to post in public forums about putting a basketball team together, every Friday morning, surprisingly a lot of people showed up and it was a huge success. Now am planning to take this into a next level where more people are welcome to show up, mix up and its a great opportunity to have fun and meet some wonderful people. Here is list of activity that I came up with: 1) Basketball: every Friday morning 8:00 AM for two hours we can play as many as 40 players into teams and winner will last. No one is professional and everyone is there just to have some fun. 2) Running: Jogging with a group can be a lot of fun and very challenging. Currently, we are 3 jogging from 7PM till 8PM at Salmyah accept for the weekend's. 3) Scuba Diving: Not done this yet, but once an interested group is put together I can contact a friend he works in one of those diving center to get a package for a big group and we can do this on a weekend since the weather nowadays is really nice to do so. 4) Chill outs: Every Saturday morning and/or Friday night we get together in a different coffee shop. Meet new folks, talk about what's new and swap stories. I think we can suggest more activities as we go. All these activites can have people from all ages, eventually we are doing this for fun. If you like the idea message me your details. Right now am thinking of creating a mailing list or a group on facebook so we can post all the activities we are about to do or have in mind. Cheers, Mo

I play football every friday 10pm-11pm if anyone is interested. im going home for the spring break so we would start back in mid feb but anyone who wants to ball or play football/soccer let me know

Hello everyone. If anyone is interested in salsa classes, there is a session in the holiday inn, Salmiya. It costs about KD 30 per person (but I don't know the number of lessons). I think they told me that there is a beginners and advance class.

Instead, there is another Salsa class (which I attend) near the Al-Rashid Hospital, Salmiya. The classes are KD 30 per month a total of 8 to 9 classes-one hour each plus after the one hour you can stay and practice, which is cool! For couples is KD 25 per person. Classses are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8pm to 9pm. As for individual sessions if required are KD 5 each per person.

- Friday 8 AM starting at Marina crescent next to pink berry.
- Saturday 9 AM starting also at Marina crescent next to Starbucks.

@cute_ehyption just go early in the morning to Marina in Salmiya. Lots of people play there. There are nicer places (indoors and outdoors) but we like to keep them on a low profile, otherwise they will be crowded
