A bit of fun and I thought it would help to get an overview to those thinking of moving over.....

Hot, cold, beautiful, frustrating, friendly.

No thanks, there is nothing in malta,is all built up,no mountains,no rivers,no wildlife nothing, tax is sky high, everything is imported which you have to pay 15% tax on everything, wages are way too low and you feel like you are just living in a box,I am maltese so I can say this,we get water to the tap from the reverse osmosis which comes from the sea but thanks anyway.

Hi nature101,

this thread was intended for fun, you can rant and rave to your hearts content on this thread here https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=293224

Also, I notice you want to move to Belize, maybe you should try the forum more related to where you want to go? Just a thought?

I need 10, 5 good
Sunny, Relaxed, Friendly, Historical, Beautiful.
5 bad
Dirty, Infuriating, Small, Polluted, Wasted

Thought very hard about them, and for those of you already on the island, I think you'll agree with my bad points.

Damsel

Better than the United Kingdom!

Chardor

I really love it here !!

And only 5 words.......

Chardor

Don't be afraid, just accept that they do things in their own time, in their own way, over charge if you are not a resident, moan about everything, but are friendly, funny and accommodating. Come for a holiday and take it from there......
