Hello.
I've arrive Hanoi less than a week and I cant help to notice that the locals like to stare. Is it normal? Im muslim btw and wear headscarf. Is it something new to them since m sure there are Muslim community in Vn too.

charmavietnam

You don't need to worry about that actually :D
Purdah/burqa is rare here. Moreover you are a foreigner. They like foreigners. Not for harming. Be friendly with locals.

Peanut_oreo

Thank you for the information.
I was getting a bit worry since its my first time in Vietnam.

Welcome to VN. Just treat people the way you like to be treated. Remember, what other people think of you is none of your business!

charmavietnam

You are welcome!
Also be careful with your valuables when you go out. :D
'Some one' like foreign goods!

Peanut_oreo
