Suffer rookies!

"Barking dog seldom bites"!!
Never mind these kind of people :D
May be he is an unemployed guy with social hatred.

BIGJED1975

Maybe show the texts to the school or police. He needs stopping.

Shouldn't you tell us who he is, or what company he works for, so we can prepare ourselves or be careful??? haha, I know I certainly don't want to become involved with him whoever he is :/

Maybe we should go pay HIM a visit?

Is this "spider" guy, the one that plagued me with calls after i applied to one of his craigslist adverts?  I thought he was a bit too keen...

His craiglist doesn't make mention of any schools or company name. Seems he's just the middle-man with an English name. Anyone have a jimmy to pry open this door? It seems to be stuck in Transit.

:offtopic:
Sorry to get off-topic but I laughed out loud when I mis-read the OR in your sentence.

Sometimes you can delete the corresponding OR THAT in a THIS OR THAT sentence to read it straight on as THIS sentence...as such:

Marcus or Bob can handle the transaction. --> Marcus can handle the transaction.

Jack or Andy can go to the conference instead of me.  -->Jack can go to the conference instead of me.

SO I initially mis-read your sentence as:

Threatening a foreigner with violence without proper business registration and taxation is a crime in this country.  :P

Mark, I think oversleeping and missing a school meeting is very unprofessional. You shouldn't blame others for your slip ups.

I concur,out this person.
Threatening a foreigner with violence or receiving money without proper business registration and taxation is a crime in this country.
With all the difficulties of late with foreign tourists being ripped off and conned,I'm sure the powers that be would love to talk to your friend(and the schools he represents) about his abuse of legitimate foreign workers.
Either that or he just wants to make friends with you and you hurt his  feelings.:D

He wants to be friends with Ben Franklin, and I don't blame him for that.  There's plenty of newbies out there waiting to be fleeced.  He is spinning his wheels trying to hoodwink most teachers that have been around a while and he's certainly making a grievous error threatening any human being.

He may find himself permanently repatriated, because I doubt he's a naturalized citizen of the United States yet.

He iis a middle man.  All he does is troll the net, homing in on schools with staffing problems, like Fisher Superkids, in Danang.  Then hebspams sites like Craigslist looking for newbies, or teachers that need a job asap, like myself.

Of course I'm from Garden Grove! It's the MECCA for all VN refugees. Advice for you: stop oversleeping and take your job more seriously. Teaching is a noble profession.

After reading all this...I'm glad that the only business I will be doing in Vietnam is supporting the adult beverage industry.

that care only for the net profit, not the students, and I have paid dearly

This is the reason I did not re-sign my last contract and went into private teaching.... but then I don't need to teach full time as others may have to.

Hope you fine a decent job :)

I agree with this statement. I once met a teacher at RMIT in PMH who eventually quit her  teaching job because she was disgusted with the corruption of the school administration . She was going to fail a student who was not performing...but the administrator allowed the student to PASS because the student was from  a wealthy family.
