Hello

I'm attempting to start a writing group in Berlin. The idea is to get a small, regular group of writers (any discipline) to meet every Monday evening (because Monday is for hard work!) and bring along photocopies of their work to read out or pass round so that others can give them some constructive feedback on their work and help with or discuss any writing dilemmas they may have. Everyone doesnt have to read something if they arent feeling up to it, but it would be ideal if they did and the general vibe should be a friendly and supportive.

The fist meeting is Monday 19th April, at 8 pm at the Brotfabrik, 3 Prenzlauer Promenade 3 (you can get there via M2 tram from Alexander Platz and get off at Prenzlauer Allee / Ostsee Strasse stop).

I've reserved a table there under Berlin writing group - but just in case, I'll put a kiwi on the table so you'll know where we're at.

Hope to see any interested english-speaking writers there!

Is anyone still doing a writing group in Prenzlauer Berg?  Just moved here and working on a novel, interested to meet up with other writers.

David

Hi aiméel,

Welcome to expat-blog!

Please can you tell us more about yourself?

Please note that this thread is quite old. I suggest you to create a new topic on the Berlin forum, this might help you to find other writers. :)

Regards,

David.

I sent an offline message with my contact details, but not sure it went through.  Hoping to join in tomorrow if possible.

Thanks,
Aimée
