BAREFOOT BOOGIE

Post new topic

mishkj

Hello dancers, creative movers and anyone who simply likes to strut their stuff!!

"There is a dance that only you know how to do" - Gabrielle Roth

Based on the 5 Rhythms Wave practice http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5Rhythms
The Barefoot boogie is an opportunity to leave your worries and shoes behind and develop a direct mind-body-spirit connection in movement and free-form dance to the rhythm of various styles of music in a healthy, fun and non-judgemental environment.

Please contact me if this speaks to you and I'll add you to the mailing list. I would like to put together an initial group and find a space to practice in the north of the island. In any case, your feed-back is very welcome.

Hello,

Is it like Biodanza? I am interested, but I am living in Tamarin.Rgs, Adel

Hey Adel,
Yes the dance is much along the lines of Biodanza... Have you already done that? I'd love to start up a group and why not, take it all over the island. I'm sure people would love it.
I'll keep you in the loop and let you know what's going on.

Hi having just checked it on you tube, I may be interested in this. I am coming over in January for a few months. What area does this take place?

Thanks

Your chance to come and try out free-style dancing will happen soon! The Barefoot Boogie will be held at Jo Yoga studios in Calodyne, in the north of the island. Information will be posted on the Face Book sites: facebook.com/JoYogaMauritius and Mum's of the North.
