Hi guys,

The information are a little bit confuse on internet. I have to submit the papers for e-residence at Evans Building and I want to go there saturday in the early morning. I'm a EU citizen and I work full time in Malta.

I've read a lot about this stuff and collected all the documents. The only piece missing in this puzzle is if Evans Building residence office is open the saturday.

Some say only from Monday to Friday 8.30 - 12.00 a.m.
Others say that the saturday you can go there from 7.30 to 11.00 a.m.

Any clues?

Toon

you can do it by post as well - just takes longer!

it will still take well over 4 weeks - lets hope you are one of the lucky ones who can get it under 8 weeks

That's excatly as georgeingozo said, applicants may apply personally from Monday to Thursday from 8.30am till 3.30pm. Only persons enjoying International Protection are seen on Fridays. More info HERE

Hi corvaccio,

you would be the first to be able to apply on a Saturday and certainly the first to be issued with the e-residence card on the spot !

Expect at least several weeks wait before you can collect your card although it does seem to be getting better but there is still a huge backlog.

If you were not an EU citizen you could only apply in person on a Friday anyway.

Cheers
Ricky

I put my paperwork in three weeks ago and collected our cards this morning - maybe I was one of the lucky ones ....... But your information on here was invaluable, which helped with everything ... So once again, a big huge thank you from a now in receipt of the new residence/ID card holder xx:):|
