1.5Gb package (not unlimited): VND 120,000 ("DK M120")

Check your available data anytime by texting "CHECK DATA" to 999.

That is Vinaphone, ( Vietel same prices ).
Try Vietnamobile, 125,000 gets you 3 GB's
                    200,000 gets you 5Gb's
Has anyone tried them yet?, they have a coverage map on the net.
I'm still trying to find a sim card.

My post was actually about Mobifone, but that hardly makes a difference since the big three are all state-owned and account for some 90% of the country's subscribers (hence, their rates and plans are virtually identical).

Has anyone dealt with Vietnamobile? Their 3G prices look enticing but I'm hooked on the biweekly 50% promotions. Coverage/speed?

Ah Mobifone and Vinaphone have the same code DK M120.
I'll let you know about the VN mobile as soon as I can find a SimCard, I'll only be getting the 40,000, 1.5GB deal first though, just in case they are crap.
