move to Belize

I am a 28 years old Registered Nurse. i am planning to move to Belize in about 2 years. if possible, i will like to become citizens. i am  planing to come with enough money to support myself for  12-18 months. Ultimately, I will like to work they as a nurse. I've been having a hard time finding up-to-date information about working as a  nurse in beliz. And, I've conflicting information.please i am saying all this but i do not have any information on how i could starte processing my documen but if they are information avialable please will you mine orientating me toward a better information because i am confused with the first information  a fraiend of my gave me.

Do i have to be in Belize for 6 or 12 months before i am able to work and apply for citizenship? i plan on renting a home at first. Once I am able to work and I've found a job, then i will buy a home.

You cannot work in Belize without a permit and good luck with that, my wife is also a RGN she has also looked at working in Belize when we eventually make the move full time, again she is not banking on it.

I know for a fact Belize bring in or allow to come in Reg. Nurses from other countries. With this info
you can start  paper work for eventually getting a working permit.
