Hi Everyone,

I'm originally from Trinidad & Tobago in the Caribbean.

I've been in & out of Turkey for a few years, working as an English Teacher and I recently moved to Ankara.

I find it a bit boring though, as the other cities are more lively, but maybe with some direction' I can find the soul of this city.

Nice to meet you all :)

Thanks Pricilla.

aidalize_me I would like to go to the beach LOL  I'm begining to think Ankara isn't for me, or maybe I should just chill out & go with the flow. I like the outdoors & nature, but Ankara is mostly malls & indoor places. It's is very clean & organised though.

Hi yogita,

Firstly belated welcome to turkey..
seriously you find winters in Turkey a bit boring.. Mostly we need to stay indoors. dont worry it will eventually become alive after march. thats the best time to be in Turkey.

P.S I think ankara was far from some of hte best beaches in Turkey. Beaches like Kusadasi,Bodrum and antalya
