50cc motorbike for rent in HCMC?

Hi,

I saw a post on this topic recently although sadly there were very few responses, so I thought I would try again...

I moved to HCMC less than a week ago, I've finally found an apartment for rent and I am now looking at renting a small automatic 50cc bike just to help me get around whilst I look for work. Eventually I will look to get a Vietnamese license and buy a motorbike however it is more convenient for me to rent at this time.

I been driving a bike in Thailand for 2 years however the roads are nothing compared to Vietnam!! A 50cc will be more than suitable at least for the short term.

I understand that you do not need a Vietnamese license for a 50cc motorbike... am I correct?

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks

Hi there!
I also look for a 50 cc and contacted Thien from http://saigonscooterrental.com/. He has  Honda Cub for about 60 USD per month.

Thanks Missmae, I have sent Thien an email.

I am not really a bike person so I'm not sure if automatic 50cc bikes exist in Vietnam.. I was riding a Honda Click 125i in Thailand for two years :D
