Hello, my name is Angel Belay, im a male from Argentina, im 15 years old and i want to move to Australia.
My big brother has been in Australia for 1 year, so he told me ALL about this beautifull country and i fell in love haha...
I'd love to work of something that uses the english... ive been thinking in a translate, because i know spanish and english and i know kinda german too (still studing)
Im studing english since 1 month (WITH TEACHER) ... I learned english because im always chating on-line with people from english countries, or because im playing video games in english
All i want right now is finish the highschool (in 3 years) and just... get the visa and go to Australia! what do y'all think bout it???
Thank you all!!!
Hello Angel
What a wonderful dream you have and yes Australia is a wonderful country, as your brother says. But as for working as an intepreter or translator, you need to understand that we have thousands of wonderful people from all countries here and translation work would be difficult to obtain or even get a visa for that reason.
Your best plan would be look each year at the list of desired occupations on the Department of Immigration website http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general- … ew/faq.htm and set yourself a course of study which would lead to you obtaining an immigration visa.
On the other hand when you are in a position to do so, you could obtain a student visa and enrol in an English Course.
Good luck with your dream
Denise

Hi I'm Denise and the primary reason that I joined the Expat.com is to offer our apartment for rental to a mid-long term professional seeking accommodation in the centre of Brisbane. I know that it's difficult to get a fully furnished rental when you don't have any access to the real estate market. So if any of you good folk here in Brisbane or any where else around the world know of a professional person (couple or family) who are seeking an excellent 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, fully furnished, airconditioned, apartment with wifi and secure parking, please refer them to me.
Angel. Of course I wish you well: we all do. But you may have further to go in your English lessons that you think at the moment. Your profile says you have 80% English, but your written English needs quite a lot of work yet. Still, you have three more years before graduating, so that's plenty of time. Good luck!

Hello, I am not an expat Filipino but I would like to contact expats who may be interested in Fine Art.
I have a unique oil painting by the late Papo di Asis (1971) with the most facinating provenence. The painting was taken from the Inperial Palace during the Marcos coup by a sympathetic Army General. It was brought to Perth as part of a collection of paintings which were featured on the ABC and exhibited at the Bay Gallery of Fine Art.
The painting was purchased in an Auction but has now been offered for resale from a deceased estate.
The former owner would like the painting to go back to the Filipines as it represents an important period in the history of the Filipines.
If you are interested in knowing more about this amazing painting call me on 0439468500 and I will send you the ABC DVD, the Auction Catalogue and all of the relevant media releases.

As far as Universities go there are plenty to choose from to study engineering. I suggest that you go online and check them out for courses and costs.
You will need a student visa. For visa information and applications www.immi.gov.au As a student you can also work part time 20 hours a week but jobs are hard to get as unemployment is rising. I suggest that you have enough money to cover the full cost of your course and to cover at least 6 months living expenses.
Cost of living is very high here in Oz. Rents, transport, food etc. You will have to have your own medical insurance cover. For cost of living www.numbeo.com
Unless your father has a profession or trade that is on the skills list then he will not get a job. The skills list can be found on the visa link. Companies here are reducing staff and so the job market is competitive. Locals will get the job before an expat.
It is also expensive for a company to employ an expat, with visa costs etc and the process can be time consuming.
Good luck.

HI, Lanny,
I am Chaya from Cambodia. I wish to study and work in Australia. Can you give me some recommendation about how to study and work in Australia?
Hello Everyone!
My name is Daniel and I am from the United States. In 2 months I will be moving to Panama to attend College. I will be getting a Bachelors Degree in Architecture as well as an Italian certification. The United States is going in a very dangerous direction. It's very unstable and uncomfortable. Australia has always been on my mind. It seems like a beautiful country with a great environment. I would really like to get a Masters degree in Australia, with the intentions of eventually working and living there. If anyone has any suggestions on what I could/should do to make this happen; I would greatly appreciate it. I will most likely be done with my Bachelors by 2019. Thanks again everyone!
