Hi - I understand from previous posts on this topic you will not be allowed to work in your first year, but Ricky knows a lot more than me

ricky

Yes, George is right!

During your first full year (12 months) of study you are not allowed to work and will not get a work permit (and will be expelled if caught working without a permit).

From the second year onwards you are allowed to work 10 hours a week.

PS What exactly is Maritime Engagement about?

Cheers
Ricky
