Moving to Malaysia next week

G'day!
Ill be working across Port Dickson in Negeri Sembilan, and need some advice from locals on nice areas to reside in eg Nilai, Serimban or Port Dickson.
I'm looking for a safe, yet very nice area with a fairly high standard of living.

Be good to also know some good websites or organisations to build a solid circle of friends prior to my departure.

Not really any accommodation to the standard you mention, as it is a holiday area with hotels for Malaysians and some Singaporeans. Seremban has some cheap accommodation and some long term expats do live there. However, it is a considerable drive from Port Dickson.
