Hi
I'm katrina from the Uk
I'm married and I have an active little toddler that keeps me on my toes!
I've been living in London for the past 8 years it is quite challenging and I wish to move back to the country hopefully soon :)
My next move is to move to Mauritius for 5 months to go back to my roots! I was born there but I grew up in the uk.
I wish to reconnect with my motherland and get to explore the island!!
Any ideas as I'm am also looking for a part time day care around rivière noire!
Thx
Looking forward for to hear from you all

Hello Katrina,

Welcome to Expat.com :)

A new thread was created as from your post on the Mauritius forum for better visibility and interaction.

Regarding your job search, it would be best if you browse through the list of jobs in Mauritius.

Do you have any other specific questions regarding your move to Mauritius?

Thank you,

Hasnaa

Hi Katrina,

i too am hopefully going back my roots!

i will be in mru in June for 4 weeks to check out the place and see if i can adapt and settle as i am now ready for an island lifestyle and find the hustle of uk too cramped.

If your there in June would be great to meet up on the day care front flic en flac is a sure bet as not to far but cant recommend anyone personally.  However i know of a fewteachers there so i can always ask if you are still looking?

Let me know all the best in your future move
Natasha
