Iqama for Daughter

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to get my daughter an Iqama(residence permit) again. She used to be on my Iqama before she left to continue her education at which point of time her dependent/iqama status was cancelled. She is now 24 years old and we would like her to be with us. My company has said due to the fact that she is above 18 she cannot be a dependant on my Iqama and are refusing her a residence permit.

From my understanding a daughter that is unmarried is allowed to stay under her fathers Iqama until time of marriage (we are a muslim family). Can anyone provide me information if there is any way my daughter can be allowed back on an Iqama and what the procedure as well as time frame would be.

Thank You  :/

The only way to it is to find here a boy and marry your daughter with him.

You must force your company to make her residence iqama , she is your daughter after all

Im sure there are better ways then whats been suggested. I guess the question I'm trying to ask is that if its possible for something to happen or have I hit a dead end. I have lots of family friends whose daughters are above  25 yet are still on their fathers Iqama.

Is this an issue to take up with my company or can I go around it by visiting MOI or Passport Dept. etc.

Any information will be appreciated.

Cheers  :/
