Best place to live in Paramaribo?

Hi,

I would like to know where would be the best place to live in Paramaribo? Safe and quiet. I would like to be able to do most of the things without driving.
Is the rent expensive?

It is difficult to say where is the best place to live.Because the best place is that upscale or nice and safe?
The expensive quarters are: Paramaribo-Center, Paramaribo-Noord, Brokopondolaan. The rent is high.
If you don't like the drive, there are taxi's and local buses driving eveyrwhere, but with the best connections will be the center, and north of Paramaribo.
