Thank you guys for posting your experiences about lung scar issue. Somehow i regain my hope  to pursue my application in dubai. Same with you i had been diagnose for having fibrosis/lung scar last yr 2013. I really can't believe that i am carrying such uncurable desease which could possibly pull down my dream of working abroad.

I am now applying your valuable advices... drinking milk in the morning and before going to bed. I pray and hope this will work to me too.
Of course with a maximum prayer  and faith with Him.

I am hoping to land in Dubai too .  :)

virender88

when u have your medical?

jayche

SO ITS TRUE THAT IF YOU ARE DEPORTED YOU CANNOT GO BACK TO DUBAI.. BUT I THOUGH THOSE WHO HAVE CRIMINAL RECORDS ONLY?

Priscilla

@ jayche > Can you please post in small caps? Posting in capital letters is not really friendly on a forum.

Thanks

Priscilla

I have taken milk for 15 days my xray report shows difference as:
before milk it was air space infiltrates in right upper and mid zone and left upper zone.
After milk it shows air space infiltrates in mid zone.

But I showed xray to doctor she said no change in xray. Scars cannot be hidden whatever you do.
Please guide me what should I do next?

joancsoy

Pls don't try because for sure you will be unfit and be banned for life.
I have recently experienced it...

ysache

hi!want to ask of what kind of milk did you drink before having your x-ray?

joancsoy

Hi. I have the same case. What's worst I asked for somebody's help to make the papers legal of course with my company's approval.too.  I just want to beware the public from c S her fb account.she is a fraud. She will just get money and pretend to be sympathizing you and promises to work on your papers....I trusted her as she was a friend of my friend...

Hi. I have the same concern. I am planning to work in the middle east and i am really worried that my lung scars will appear on my xray . i got the spots from having primary complex when i was 7. I am interested in knowing what was the brand/type of milk that you used. Thanks for sharing your story.

Your doctor is right (btw lung infiltrate is anything that is filling up your lungs; could be pneumonia or could be fluids - does not have anything whatsoever to do with scars) . I came across this post and couldn't believe the advice that's being given.  It is the worst form of uneducated mumbo jumbo.

If you have lung scars, there is NO WAY that they will go away.  This is what decades of medical science has proven.  Think about it; scars on the rest of the body heal and become faint but still remain.  Lung tissue is spongy and once damaged, the scar stays for life.  With all the milk drinking and exercise, you will become healthy but not remove scars.  If you have faint scars, then it is possible that they could be missed in the X-ray as that depends on the angle of the x-ray, the quality of the scan (angle, exposure and your position) as well as the attention to detail of the radiologist reading the x-ray (and he sees a 1000 a day so he could miss a few).

Also the therapeutic benefits of natural medicine (including homeopathy) are not proven to do anything.  Do a search on wikipedia and read accredited medical journals.

XTang thanks for guiding....

If we have any not any option we try whatever ppl told us to do. So I tried milk thinking that it may work.

Only solution of this issue is change of medical law for old TB patients.

kill3rtomato

Hi. I'd like to ask if someone know what happens when you don't inhale at all during your xray? Thanks

Hello,

Ang pagkakaalam ko di sila masyado strikto sa Medical pag husband's Visa ka. I would suggest magdala ka ng Certificate from your Doctor na nag undergo ka ng treatment. make sure you have your doctors's clearance.

Hi toby wee
I suggest you to take a look at the following thread.
https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.p … 08#2694986

As some expats have suggested, you can get ultrasound (more likely to miss the scars!) or have business Visa & get medical tests in Dubai (they don't do X-ray, it seems).
Best wishes.
