How about computer specialist for non eu citizens.i am from iran.is it better i set up and software developing company or try to find a it job?

kojidae

The market is rather saturated with talented developers here, so it would be difficult to get a work permit for a job as a developer (you need a work permit before you come here, specifically for a job you have been hired for, otherwise it is difficult to get, unless you are married to a Bulgarian).

If you can, it would be much better to open your own company in Bulgaria. You would find plenty of skilled employees and you would not have visa/work permit issues.

can i get visa with setting up company?how can i set up and how much does it cost? Is it important that i have location for company?

I am not really sure about Iran but setting up company in bulgaria is just 200 leva (100 euro or  120 usd...).

It's better to look for a job unless you know how to develop your business. Frankly the bulgarian IT sector is weak, 99% of your customers will be from abroad. Perhaps Iran is better market assuming the population of 77 million people. Bulgaria is just 7 million people and the incomes are on the same level as Iran.

can i get resident with setting up company as a non europian?which businesses are popular in bulgaria?is it important to have location for company ?can i start my activity with out renting location?for example can  i work in home?

kojidae

To get a residence permit for setting up a company you need to either invest a minimum amount (not sure how much) or employ a certain number of Bulgarians in your business. Again, not sure how many, I think it is between 7-15. So, working from home by yourself would not be an option.

Hello I want to ask if there are any companies in Bulgaria that search for greek people to work not knowing Bulgarian, just Greek, English and German. Thanks :)

kojidae

I understand your frustration with the residence permit issue. I am married to a Bulgarian and I have to regularly renew my residence permit early (starting a month before my other one expires and then rushing the new permit) so I am not at any point without a residence permit (even though it is legal for you to be with an expired permit when you have already applied for the new one and are waiting for it to arrive). Then, our accountant has to update my work contract with a copy of my new residence card and take the document in to wherever they do work permits and contracts (still don't understand it all). If it wasn't my husband's company, I highly doubt anyone would want to do this for me.

But, it is possible, if you find the right employer. You may need a contract until the end of your permit and then a new contract when you get your new permit, but as long as they overlap, that should not be necessary.

Unfortunately, the two years of marriage thing is no longer valid. It is now the usual five years, or three years if you have a child. (Depressing, I know, but all of the officials I have talked to have told me the same thing). Although, if you wait the full five years, your long term permit, as a spouse, is much cheaper than if you get the permit after three years. (And you do not have to have the child for three years. The child can be born after you started living in Bulgaria and it counts from the time you started you current visa)

Thanks for all the informations, just to inform you that finally i start to work (my freind company) this laws are idiot to have kids to dont have three years five years.this kind of rulls are for cats or dogs its life not a laboratory.
The funny thing when you try to take some answers why things r like this they say this is Bulgaria if u dont like move none force you yo come or to live here

wish you all the best and for all EXPAT S
