I only suggested that because I had suggested meeting at my villa for the first time and then I did not hear from anyone.  So I thought maybe that was why. 

It seemed I had some people interested and then poof I did not hear anything.

That's okay.  People like that can eliminate themselves if they are going to be that way instead of talking about something and finding out reasons why.  It's not real easy communicating this way in the first place.

I meant people like Goldilocks can eliminate themselves for acting this way.  I did not mean the others who are interested.

I still don't know why she got that way or what she was talking about being insecure and the other thing she said.  I am not sure it was about the coffee shops.  Because I also wrote in that post -- coffee shops and/or our homes.

I understand we are writing so a lot of miscommunication can occur.  But if we have a problem with something and/or not sure what someone is talking about, ask.

I will start another post and try again to get something started.

Hey Sea Angel, would be nice if you plan to make the meetings co-ed.  Or even organize a group wherein we can elect officers who will organize such for events, parties, activities/clubs (sports, travel etc..) which can be held every month or every other week.  I'm not sure but it can be a headstart.

Yes, Marvfin, a co-ed group too would be nice; but I am assuming then the meet-ups would have to be in the evening after work, which is fine too.

My first and original intent is for the spouses of expats who are not working during the day to get together during the day, at least once a month to start.  The expats who are working are having some kind of contact with others, whereas the ones at home during the day may not be having contact with others as much.

Maybe simulataneously we can get 2 groups going -- one in the evening and one during the day.

just being naughty for the fun of it but i advise at least get one running first:)

actually i respect sea angel carrying the flag for everyone, but guess same gender backstabs easier:)
