About to go to Dubai

lowelyn_h

I recently got a job offer in Dubai as Store manager in a fashio boutique.  I have no idea about the cost of living in dubai.  so i readily accepted the job offer.

Here's the details of my salary:
basic pay AED 3,000
accom.    AED 1,200
transpo   AED   300
total     AED 4,500

Should i continue i dont have a VISA yet, it is still being processed.

And does anybody know if they pay overtime in Dubai?

Hello and welcome to Expat.com, Lowelyn_H :)

that can be considered, but would all depend on the kind of lifestyle you will have. If you intend to have a sort of a work-home itinerary for your entire contract then you'll be able to survive and save a little bit.

IF you want my honest opinion, that isnt very much money to live in dubai, let alone be able to save up. But again obviously depends on ur lifestyle, where u will be living, whether u will be in shared accomodation etc.

I believe you need to do more research as this salary us relatively low, and you Ned to make sure that you can live by it.
