Job Offer in UAE - Is AED 35,000 a good salary?

dprojexive

I know the post has been very old already but other members might have the same question like yours.

Even though you've asked this question in 2014, believe it or not this salary is still good in 2024.

I personally know about a company Projexive Technical Services L.L.C (Dubai Property Maintenance Company)  that pays less than 4,000 AED per month.

Now that doesn't mean it's a bad salary it really depends on the employee experience as well and the position you're applying for.

But, 35,000 AED with benefits seems to be a very good salary to live comfortably in Dubai.

When we talk about UAE you get AED 35,000 and there you don't have to pay income tax, you get employer covered healthcare nd a strong expat lifestyle. Also you can save a higher percentage of your salary.

In USA you get $10,680, in which you pay tax around 20-35% and you take home $7000 -8,500 per month depending on your state.

Overall expenses like rent, healthcare and student loan can reduce saving potential. According to me AED 30,000 is quite a good salary.
