What is the best sim card to purchase for travel to italy

nicog1

I just arrived in Verona and, based on a post in Tripadvisor, I decided on Wind for the sim card. The card itself was 15  Euro + 1 euro for activation while the renewable monthly plan I purchased was the 10 EUro including 100 minutes of calls, 200 text and 1GB if all of these take place in Italy. Outside of Italy roaming charges  will apply. A couple of things you need to know is that you must have an unlocked phone and , before you place the sim card in the phone, unlock the phone if you use a personal locking code. One issue I encountered is that the Motorola phone didn't work at all with the new sim card. Luckily, I had an old LG phone and it appears everything is working fine with it. Buona fortuna and happy travels
