Normally it is called Addis Ababa.

It depends a little bit of the language.
For example the german writing and spelling is Addis Abeba.
But for this forum in English it might be better to write Addis Ababa.

It is Addis Abeba. And it means New Flower.

Ababa in Amharic is used to call elderly men.  It is a name used to call an older man with respect.  Some Children also call their Dad "Ababa".

Hey Mitmita 22 you always have to take care of spelling names of people and places because that may result in a dangerous and  costly way!

And Julien what you have asked is the right thing to ask , I really appreciate that because it makes a confusion mostly! But you don't have to worry about that from this day onward because I'm gonna tell you the right spelling.
The capital of Ethiopia is spelled Addis Ababa! with "A" not "E"
