1. Learn as much as you can about the do's and don't before you come.
2. Try to learn a little of the language. Your attempts will be appreciated by the locals who will laugh with you not at you.
3. Study up on the food as you may be offered something to eat that may be not quite to your liking.
4.Mixing with the locals at festivals which all have religious significance.
5. Enjoy yourself.
