Hi

I'm from Pakistan and moving into an audit firm in Bahrain.

My prospective employer  applied for my work visa three weeks ago. Since then, I have been checking the status of my visa application on LMRA portal every day with my Passport Number but it says 'No Record Found'.

My employer says that the process is on track. But I don't seem to buy that.

Is anyone able to help? Does it mean the visa hasn't been applied yet?

I am waiting here for my Bahrain visa for last five weeks. And i don't think you can track status with your passport number. Be positive and best wishes.

Wish you best of luck mate and see you in Bahrain hopefully!

The process starts with an application ID in LMRA, if your employer applied.
Normally firms hire the services of Document clearing agents and a normal process comes from fast lane to slow one. Online EMS allows employer to apply in 25 minutes, LMRA is bound to process application in change its status in next 24 hours ( I got employment visa in Just 4 hours in some cases).
But if you can't get your visa application status on LMRA portal, It means your documents are with clearing agent.

Be positive, Think good, Best of Luck
