French speakers community in Oman

Post new topic

Hi all,

I hope that you all are doing well.

Despite the number of French speakers in Oman, I have not find any  french speakers communities. Therefore, I have been asking myself some questions like:  Does such community exist already? if yes, where is it? if not, Why don't we start one?.

So what do you think? let me know. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Mariamns

This is not a bad idea, am not a francophone but I have a little knowledge of french from primary school, I never took it further though. One of my besties is a graduate and french teacher in secondary school.my sisters are fluent too in french.it is such a beautiful language, e easiest after English. I have e urge to polish my skills too and am willing to join the community. Through social interaction,  I mite become a pro. Merci beaucoup for the idea

Thank you Mariamns for your encouraging words.

I agree with you in the term of the French language beauty and the social interaction.

You will become a pro, just keep it up.

I love French, can still remember the school rhymes. We had an English teacher who would never say 'Am tired' rather Je suis fatigue. Thats the beauty of French, like a song never to be forgotten

I feel the same and each time I learn some new things about French language, I feel happy that I improved. The funny thing is that I listen to the French speakers  and try to do them or to talk like them. I love the way the language sounds like. I love it.

Keep it up,

Bonjour, comment ça va?. I think every language sounds good when you are eager and keen to learnt it. I hated Arabic in school n paid less attention n couldn't wait to drop it may be coz the teacher wasnt dat warm. But being here has created an Arabic spark, it sounds good much better spoken by kids n women but am still blank about it

pucila

hey, I am good. How are you?

Well, I agree with you. and the teacher plays a rule too as you said. A simple example is that back to the school studies where you like maths (for example) or hate it. Despite the difficulties, you will keep learning it just because you liked something about it "the teacher maybe" and you will keep doing your best to be the best. In contrary, if you hated that subject, it will be as you said "couldn't wait to drop it". It is a fact and I agree with it with some little exceptions where the passion of the student gets over all bad impressions about a particular subject. Here, the "persistence, eager, personality, etc" play all the rule to keep that student on the track of his/her beloved subjects.

Keep it up,

with passion,

pucila
