Foreigners cannot own land or property at the ground level, but you can own from the first floor up, so yes you could buy a condo. I would suggest you spend some more time on the ground researching areas that you would like to live, speak to other expats in SR for recommendations, don't rush into any commitment, and ensure you conduct thorough due diligence before making any property purchases. I would also suggest having any purchase contracts reviewed by a lawyer before committing.
