hard drives and customs

hi all,

Anyone have any troubles/issues when taking multiple hard drives through customs when coming in to Vn?

I'm not talking about laptops and the occasional USB drive, but a series of them? The reason i ask is that I will be bringing in a NAS with a large disk array and i don't want it to be looked at because it has confidential business information on it.

Does anyone see any potential issues?

not really I have 4 external and 2 internal drives. the internal drives were questioned I answered that they had client photographs and they told me okay. if I were you make sure they are external drives they see them more often than the others.

Thanks for the response. but this is an 8 disk NAS unit. With 8 internal disks in it and a bit bigger, and much heavier, compared to shoebox.

it is for business purposes and i will mention client details etc if i am asked. but i don't want people snooping either.

so from your response, is it normal to be asked about such things?
