RSS feed

Hi,

Have you noticed the small RSS button on the bottom right of your screen? You can now use your RSS agregator to receive the latests posts of the forum ;)

All the best,

Julien

Great idea!

What's a RSS Feed anyway? :o :")

You'll can find more info about RSS: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS_%28file_format%29

Did you know that the Opera web browser (www.opera.com) has a great RSS reader built in?  I read all my news with it! :)

Good to know Gary thanks :)

I use  Thunderbird to send/receive emails and to read RSS ;)

I use Firefox!

Yep !!  Opera integrated RSS feed is very good.
The last version of Opera 9.5.1 is very good but still it has some bugs.

So Firefox for browsing and Opera for RSS feed.

How can I subscribe to rss feeds? Where is the button? Thanks.

Welcome on the forum telstar92 ;)

In fact, we have removed the RSS Feed button for the time being. However, an alternate solution will be to subscribe to topic or a whole forum. Go to the forum you are interested in, and you will find the https://www.expat.com/img/buttons/en/button-subscribe-forum-on.gif button at the bottom of the discussion list.

Then, you will receive a notification each time an update occur. You can subscribe to topic as well; Same procedures as above.
If you have any further queries do not hesitate to ask.

Yes,RSS files provide news updates from a website in a simple form for your computer. You read these files in a program called an aggregator, which collects news from various websites and provides it to you in a simple form.
