I like this piece from saluda (above) "all choices come with consequences." Exactly! That is an unwavering principle in life.

ive never been married so cant answer,but i think it depends on the situation and circumstances.

in life, what doesnt kill you makes you stronger. the same goes for relationships. rather than dream of changing the past, wake up and deal with the present. changing the past wont teach you anything. if the present relationship is not working, end it! its hard, yes, but at least its possible. then you can start anew, wiser than ever.

fantasy will only breed regret and remorse. responsibility will open up new doors of possibility.

it depends if the person makes you happy, why not?
people change..sometimes to good side..but if the person was a freak once, he still might be freaky and crazy.. :)and then you will run away from him again..

When we remember these days most of us so young to think about marriage, we wanted to keep the relation last forever as we are very excited to fell special treatment and carefulness and share some sweet things and some forbidden things in which we still so young to wisely think about marriage and responsibility and respected mentality between two.

Well, No one can escape fate. !!!! even our choices are destined so enjoy what you have now in hand. As for those who comes from the past. I believe that dead people never get alive.

For me the true love of my life let me a year ago and now from time to time we talk on the phone or sometimes meet with each other, and everytime I see him I know how much Im hurting myself because we are not going to be together for more than one or two days but I keep thinking about the great 2 years we had and always forget about the last 6 months which were not so great but I guess when you love someone you always remember the good times, now Im trying my best to move on and have met a few people I like but he knows and I know all he has to do is call and I will come which pisses me off!!! so Im now moving country but to be honest if he asked me tomorrow to marry him I would say yes as he is the love of my life and I still think he is perfect for me but actually I hate that I even think that because I know there is much better out there for me but I guess until you meet that new person you always think about the old,, so heres hoping my new job and country will bring  new handsome, fun and interesting men!!!!!!

Totally agree with u, as its all a matter of destiny, we can love or even hate we can also choose our love but we can't keep it forever as its God' will!
So its better for us to enjoy our new life and stop searching as we will find a bad choice definitely as almost most of us already did and life is short , so no time to regret more:)
Its better to delete any past whether it was good or bad clean or DIRTY and just to live our life normal and happy from now on
Life goes on and as long as good decent friends around you, then be sure that your angel will come to you soon I hope.
PS: after any one goes through bad experience we must have a lesson from the past and last one and try not to destroy him/her infront people without a reason as its a reputation as what goes around comes a round to us!
Start your life and be happy without hate being chained coz inside all of us is a clean clear respectful person.

Impressive, you expressed your feelings in a very nice way.I really liked it, but this kind of love only exists in utopia, you can rarely find this kind of love nowadays, because most of the people became selfish,and love is the opposite of selfishness, love means sacrifice.

Also you said soething that I like which is:

And concerning the title of the topic I believe that the first love is the strongest one ever and it rarely comes again, but we couldn't go back to it because life goes on:)we just gain experiences from it

Eventhough it was decades ago...Yes I would...fate brought us together and part us out-life goes on and wouldn't want to change that.

I wish I could remove my brain, and put it in a bucket pour a bleach in it( soack it for 3 days and put it back again).
I think marriage is a big commitment, I am 190% against arrange marriages, its a total suicide special if the are kidds involved.

Reality check - theoretically and practically speaking there's no such thing as time machine where we can turn back the hands of time and it's a big waste of time to cry over spilled milk. To be fixated in the past is not mentally and emotionally healthy. True we may have gotten hurt but who knows losing that person leads us a step closer to the one after all life goes on.

The most interesting thing about romance is that it is not planable, predictable, programmable or managable. You can't plan for it the way you do for your groceries. All you have to do is accept is when it comes and let it go as it wishes. And as indicated above the wisdom is " never search for romance!"
