Leaving a studio empty

I have to leave my studio empty for two weeks at Christmas. I would like to turn off the water and electricity . I live in a ski resort so obviously the temperature is going to be below freezing for much of the time.
What possible damage could occur if I did not leave on any heating? MY radiators are wired in without timers so it would be quite expensive to get timers fitted so I could turn on the radiators for a couple of hours a night, during the off-peak times.
