Hyderabad is different than Pune. I would say there is a cultural difference in that. However weather is good now and will remain good till next year Feb or March. So need to worry.
Beside of this, it matters where are you going to stay. If you are staying toward, Gachibowli, Hi-Tech city, Madhapur, Jubliee Hills, Banjara Hills, Begumpet area then I would say you will not feel much difference. However quality of food and options you might have to compromise. Anyways Welcome back to India...

Hyderabad is one of the cheapest major city to lives in. The monsoon started late this year but should be over by the end of September. Apart from that, Hyderabad is a better place compared to other major cities in terms of traffic, pollution and congestion. April to June is super hot, temperature around 38-45 celcius.

If you are into hard core party and nightlife, Hyderabad is not the place for that. It has a few good hangout spots/pubs/clubs here and there, but not as lively as say Bangalore.
