Thai visa status for male US citizen divorced from Thai National.

I was married to a Thai Citizen then divorce about15 years ago.  She was never a US citizen.  What is my status with the Thai government with regards to future visa requirements?

If you are divorced you can not apply for the spouse visa anymore, you can apply for other types of visa : tourist, ED, retirement, etc... if you meet the age and financial requirement for some of them like retirement visa.
After if you work here or have a business you can apply for B visa.

Thank you for reply and answer.  I plan to apply for a retirement visa. I was hoping to apply for a language visa which is good for one year, taking it at Chiang Mai University, however I believe the age cut-off is 50 yrs. Is this true, And is there any modification/special consideration to change this.

In the french forum there was a recent post about "ED visa denied" to a Belgium citizen which was below 50 years old, translate through google in english, there is also good advice from a member Katai ( post #21 ) expert in this area at the pattaya immigration :
