Hi All

Can someone help me please!! My partner is trying to apply for a Long term vistors pass for me, however the Ministry of Man power wants a  A letter from the Employment Pass holder’s embassy confirming the status of the holder’s common-law marriage to the applicant in their country (if applicable). Can anyone tell me where to get this from?

Regards
Judy

You have to go to your partner's embassy and ask to do a common law act. Then you will have the justification needed.

Cheers

hello pollpocket, thank you for your reply!!do you know what we need to ask for? also do we need to provide the embassy with anything to state that we are in a relationship?

I would advise you to go on the website of the embassy of your partner. See if they speak about common law acts. If not, just call them and ask what are the documents needed. Normally, you just have to be both present with your passports, it's the case for the French ambassy, but I have no idea for others!

Have a good day!
